Geo API

Read-only access to the intelligence behind GeoATM and GeoEV: where ATMs and chargers are, how sure we are that each location is right, and — where the operator shares it — whether it is working.

Access

Send your key on every request:

Authorization: Bearer geo_…

Keys are for server-to-server use; don’t put them in a web page or app bundle. Limit: 120 requests a minute per key.

What the fields mean

location.confidence — 0–100: how sure GEO is that the site exists where stated and is described correctly, with the reasons. Same inputs, same score.
location.tier — listed (one source), confirmed (two independent sources agree, or the operator’s own register), verified (independent sources agree, one first-party, confirmed in the last 12 months, nothing contradicting).
status.state — ATMs: available, limited, out_of_cash, out_of_service; chargers: available, none_free. unknown when nobody has reported, or the report is too old to trust. withheld when the operator hasn’t agreed to share its status.
status.confidence — high for a current operator report, medium as it ages, low for a customer report.

Attribution and licence

Location data includes © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence. Show that attribution wherever you display these locations. Every response carries it in meta.attribution.
